Safety-minded repairs
In a daycare, a loose hinge or a splintered edge matters more than it would elsewhere. We repair the things that wear down in busy rooms: doors, cabinets, trim, shelving and flooring. We pay attention to exposed screws, sharp edges and anything that can pinch or catch.
Your licensing requirements and local rules are yours to follow, and we do not provide regulatory advice. If an inspector or licensing agency has flagged a maintenance item, send us the details and we will tell you whether it is a repair we can do.
Child-safe hardware and latches
We install and replace cabinet latches, door hardware and other fixtures that help keep little hands away from things they should not reach. We can also adjust or replace hardware that no longer closes properly.
If you are unsure what hardware suits a given room, describe the problem and we can suggest practical options.
- Cabinet and drawer latches
- Door hardware, hinges and closers
- Securing shelving and furniture to walls
- Repairing or replacing damaged trim and edges
Walls, paint and floors
Crayon, scuffs, dents and dings are part of daycare life. We patch drywall and repaint so classrooms look fresh. Because the space is used daily, we plan the work to limit disruption and let you know when areas are ready to use.
Flooring takes wear from foot traffic, spills and play. We repair or replace flooring that is torn, loose or worn. For paint and materials, ask us about options that suit a busy environment.
Working around your day
Our regular hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 8 to 4. We know that your classrooms are in use, so tell us which rooms and times are best. For work outside our usual hours, ask us.
We are bonded, BBB Accredited and a 2024 Community's Choice Award winner in the Best of the Desert, East Valley program. Estimates are free, pricing is upfront and our 100% satisfaction guarantee applies. Call (623) 521-0111.
Keeping the building in order year round
Daycare maintenance never really ends. Doors need adjusting, outlet covers go missing, baseboards peel and paint gets scuffed. The best approach is to keep a running list and have it handled together so that issues do not linger. We can work from your list, price it up front and plan the visit around your classrooms.
If you are opening a new center or moving into a new space, we can help with the handyman side of getting rooms ready, including mounting shelving, assembling furniture, hanging wall items and patching and painting. Check with your licensing agency about requirements for your building, and tell us about any specific items you need handled. Ask us if you are unsure whether something is within our scope.
“Nathan did an amazing job switching the closet door hinges on my master closet to maximize my space and the work looks great! Will definitely be using him again as he has a wide scope of expertise”
